Last week was Children’s day in Japan. Kodomo no Hi is a day set aside
to celebrate children’s personalities and to celebrate their happiness.
Kids in Japan are lucky because there are three other children’s days
celebrated besides the international event. March 3 is Japanese Girls day.
May 5 used to be Japanese boy’s day but is now celebrated as Children’s
Day. And November 15 is a day set aside for children three, five and seven
years of age, as Japanese consider children these ages to be bestowed
the best luck.
